MAC Pink Lipsticks; Girl About Town & Sunny Seoul

MAC are known for their incredible range of lipsticks and I'd have been a fool not to pick up a couple in the US for a few pounds less. Or at least that's what I tell myself...

GIRL ABOUT TOWN is a bright, blue toned fuschia which is a staple for the majority of beauty bloggers and make up hoarders alike, so I knew before even landing in Orlando that this purchase was going to be made. It's from MAC's amplified range; hugely pigmented and long-wearing. I like this shade because it wears off my lips really evenly and I don't get that awkward, bare inner lip I usually get after eating or drinking with a lipstick this bright. It does however, stain the lips pretty heavily, which I suppose comes with the long lasting property, but wouldn't be ideal if you didn't want to wear this for long or planned on later switching to a nude.

Verdict; Perfect for Summer, love how long lasting it is and very pleased to have it in my collection. Great with a simplistic base and eye.

SUNNY SEOUL is a beautiful, peachy, pinky nude that I've decided is the perfect every day Summer nude. I had no intention of buying this shade and will admit that I may have only bought it as I wanted something from the airport duty free store and it was one of the only more subtle shades left in stock. However, I couldn't be happier with it. It's a cremesheen lipstick meaning it's not as highly pigmented as other MAC do but is super hydrating and feels kinda like a thick balm, which I love. The shade is very subtle but is fab for those days where you want to get a subtle, glowy, peachy look.

Verdict; It's not one for those that buy MAC lipsticks for their pigment but for those after something more wearable you're onto a winner. Goes perfect with Maybelline's Dream Touch Blush in Peach on the apples of your cheeks!

Would you recommend any other MAC pinks?
