MAC Coppering Eye Look

I've been loving a gold eye look so far this Summer yet I've been itching to try something new. When browsing the MAC counter in the Orlando duty free store (which is, not going to lie, the most disappointing duty free store ever...) I was eyeing up the bloggers' holy grail, Cranberry, when Coppering caught my attention.

A beautiful, red-toned orange with a subtle hint of pearlescent frost that I could 100% picture wearing on more glamorous Summer days. It's one of MAC's Veluxe Pearl shadows and is in fact only my second non-lipstick MAC purchase. The £13/$15 price tag still scares me and I'm sure that if my parents weren't getting rid of their last dollar notes at the airport, I, as a palette fiend, wouldn't have dreamed of buying this solo shade, but hey ho, I did and I'm in love.

Base - MAC Paint Pot in Perky, a beautiful, pearly peach base that I used to emphasise the orange tones in this look. Applied with my ring finger.

Lid and crease - MAC Coppering. Applied all over the lid with the Real Techniques Domed Shadow brush. Blended with Nanshy Blending Eyeshadow brush.

Mid lid - Urban Decay's Half Baked applied with my ring finger, with a little of Sephora's Shadow & Liner in Gold.

Lower lash line - MAC Coppering from the outer corner to the middle, with Urban Decay Half Baked and Sephora Shadow & Liner in Gold from the middle into the inner corner. All using Nanshy Tapered Crease brush.

Upper lash line - Winged out Collection's 24hr Felt Tip Liner in Black

I think this look is going to be perfect this season and I might even adapt it for my graduation.. What do you think?
