RITUALS ZENSATION FOAMING SHOWER GEL SENSATION

Rituals is a brand I've heard a lot about but never actually got round to trying until now. As an outsider, I always saw Rituals as a "spa-esque" brand, an upmarket version of Champneys or Sanctuary by Boots. With a range of scents and a collection of products ranging from scented candles to bath oils, they're a brand aimed at those of us that like to indulge when it comes to body care; those of us that don't see showering as a chore...

So here is what they say about themselves...was I right?

"The idea is simple: happiness can be found in the smallest of things. We transform your everyday routines into moments of indulgence by means of beautiful and luxurious products. Enjoy a warm fragrant bath, a cup of speciality tea or do the dishes with a little more pleasure. For example, our washing liquids are not only very effective, they smell sensational and look more than just pretty in any kitchen. That is what we are all about: enriching the little things in life with a hint of luxury. This true passion can be found in all our products."

DREAM PURCHASE; TED BAKER SAVANAH BAG

Ahh, Ted Baker. I actually think that Ted Baker is my favourite brand. I got my first bag of theirs three years ago as a Christmas present and still use it to this day. Not to mention the fact that I have 3 or 4 of their make up bags. I constantly enter department stores and lust after every single item in their handbag range, but at £100+, I just can never afford one.

LOSING WEIGHT AND GETTING FITTER

Every time I mention the fact that I want to lose weight and/or become a bit fitter, a response of "But you're already skinny!" or "You're perfect as you are!" is not uncommon. I mean, I appreciate comments like this from my family, friends and boyfriend, but at the same time, they don't stop me feeling sluggish and a little chubby here and there. New Year's Resolution cliché time...

CHALET CHOCOLAT, VERCHAIX; A WEEK IN THE ALPS WITH MY BEST FRIENDS

In early 2014, one of my friends invited myself and 10 others on a skiing holiday. I, myself, had never been skiing and jumped at the opportunity. We were lucky enough to book a gorgeous, 12 bedroom chalet over the New Year - a slight shock to the system for 11 students, used to living in squalor and scrounging off our student loans. The holiday was booked very early in the year, leaving months of anticipation and plenty of time to gather together some spending money!
