Merry Christmas one and all!

It's been a while since I nurtured my little internet baby, but hello everyone! I hope that you've all had a fabulous day and have been truly and utterly spoilt by Santa. Christmas is one of my favourite times of year, in fact who am I kidding, it is my favourite time of year. There is something about having cosy nights in with the family, endless mince pies and festive Yankee Candles!

I didn't have a post as such planned for this one, but today I received my first DSLR camera and I've been playing around with different settings and taking lots of photos, so I wanted to share just a few and spread the festive cheer.

My Mum actually bought our little doggies some Barbour jackets - I personally think she is mad for doing so but can't deny how adorable they look in them. I mean, look at their little faces. The most pampered pooches you ever did see.

For Christmas this year I painted my nails with Max Factor Glossfinity in Raspberry Blush with a Barry M Rose Quartz accent. The Max Factor polish was actually a free gift when you spent £15 on Max Factor, it is the first polish of theirs that I've tried and I must say that I am impressed.

Our lovely table decor - Mum is a star!

I spent most of the day snuggling in these little slipper booties by totes bought for me by my parents. They're the perfect pair of slippers for me, because they're not too hot and aren't white - I hate white slippers because they are always so dirty after like, a day! Oh and yes, that is a puppy hair on my left leg...

My Christmas bell from 1999. Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings.

My place setting, fiddling with my aperture - any advice would be welcomed!

Obligatory Christmas dindins photograph. I could eat this again.

Playing Celebrity Heads - I was Charlie Chaplin!

It's not Christmas if you don't cosy up in your new pyjamas with candles, Celebrations and Call The Midwife!

Bought for me by Mathew's Grandad - I'm in love.

Finishing off the night by lighting my favourite winter scent - Snowflake Cookie by Yankee Candle.

I also thought I ought to mention, for those of you that have seen me blog excessively about him, Mathew did get me a very lovely bracelet - absolutely gorgeous - but my child-like wrists mean that it is too big for me and we are hopefully going to get it exchanged for a smaller size over the next few weeks. I haven't forgotten him!

I hope you've enjoyed this little glimpse at my Christmas Day! I hope you've all had wonderful days surrounded by those that you love the most.

Also, please feel free to give me any DSLR advice that you may have. It is more than welcome as I want to be able to make the most of all the little features that I currently don't know about!

Have you had a good Christmas? Do you have any advice?

Lots of love, Steph xxxx
