BLOGGING: WHERE HAS THE FUN GONE?

Back in June 2013, after having been reading blogs for years, I decided that it was time to start one up myself and share my passion with fellow beauty and fashion lovers. The beauty and fashion blogging community was nothing like what I expected. There was me expecting it to be a calm, yet passionate, social media environment. Oh, Steph.

When I began blogging, I did it because I knew that there were people that got as excited as me when they stepped into Boots or Superdrug, people that would never buy a product without reading a good review or being recommended it by the likes of FleurDeForce or Zoella. Where has that gone? I find myself sitting to me laptop, so demotivated to write because I don't feel part of the community anymore. Who gives a monkeys about the community? Why do I care? It is my blog, isn't it?

WHAT I WORE IN SUMMER 2014 #1

The Summer is coming to an end here in the UK and while that means misery in some aspects; heading back to university to study, not seeing my family and boyfriend every day and having to actually cook for myself, it has its positives; jumpers, boots, fluffy pyjamas and dressing gowns are coming BACK! For those who know me it will come as no surprise that my excitement mainly bases itself around A/W fashion. But before we get too excited about all that, I wanted to see Summer off by showing you just a few of the outfits that have seen me through the warmer months and clothes that I'll be sad to be pushing to the back of my drawers as we say hello to the colder months.
At the beginning of July I was luck enough to have a shoot with an old school friend named Phillipa. Based in North Lincolnshire, Phillipa is making quite the name for herself in the photography department and I feel very lucky to have had the chance to collaborate with her! You can check out pearsphotography.co.uk for more of her fabulous work.
