OOTD - Mixing Up The Pastels

It's been so sunny recently and I've been loving wearing lighter colours more than usual. This outfit was worn for an afternoon shopping with my Mum! I wanted to keep it casual.

My sheer blouse is from Dorothy Perkins. I spent ages deciding whether or not I should buy this until I went shopping with my boyfriend - together we decided it was worth the spend and around 6 washes on I can confirm this! It's such a feminine blouse without being overly flouncy or girly. I love that it has a translucent panel on the shoulder too, it adds that bit of something and makes it that bit less plain. This blouse also has a seam over the button down, which gives it an elegant feel, as well as it being loose and casual. My shorts/skort have been featured in a previous OOTD (Stepping Into Spring) and are from New Look. I love their daisy print and loose fit. They feel really slimming on the legs as they aren't skin tight.

I decided to make this outfit a clash of the pastels by accessorising with mint green. The bag is my faithful ASOS cross body satchel and the shoes are actually my Mum's, from M&Co. The colour match between the two is perfect and I loved wearing them together!

What I'm Wearing:
Flats - M&Co - price unknown
Watch - Michael Kors - £250
Ring - Pandora - gift (price unknown)

On my nails are the BarryM Silk Collection, I didn't mean for this photo to look quite so much like I was crying...but it sums up my irritation with the wind on this particularly day! It may have been sunny but my gosh was it windy! I kept my make up very simple for this look. I recently had my eyelashes tinted so I've been making the most of it and not wearing mascara/eye make up! On my lips is Rimmel Moisture Renew in Coral Britannia

What do you think to the blouse? What would you wear it with?

Love, Steph xxxx
