Rita for Rimmel - 60 Seconds Nail Polish in Lose Your Lingerie/Let's Get Nude

I've never been one for buying into a brand because of a celebrity name but I've been after some new nail polishes to spice up my ever-growing collection. I'd seen all over the TV that Rimmel had this new collection; Rita For Rimmel. After seeing a "Buy One Get One Half Price" offer on Rimmel's new Rita Ora 60 Seconds Polishes in Superdrug, you know me, I had to do it.

I'm really into pastels and nudes at the minute, my make up and nails have been oozing minimalism. There was a limited selection of the collection available when I purchased these polishes but I think that I'd have probably chosen the same two all over again had the rest of the collection been there. I chose a baby pink named Lose Your Lingerie and a coffee-nude, aptly named Let's Get Nude.
Lose Your Lingerie is a marshmallow baby pink and I'm utterly in love with it. It has a hint of shimmer but it's not overwhelming and without a close look it could be mistaken for a matte shade. This shade really reminds me of Essie's Fiji. Let's Get Nude, for me, is the perfect nude. I often find that nude shades can be too dark. That might be due to the fact that I have really pale skin (and therefore fingers) so darker nudes can look more like stained nails than perfectly polished ones. This one however is glooorious. The formulation of Rimmel's polishes really is outstanding. I have never given them enough credit. They glide on and their brush really aids application with a rounded tip. The polishes are very thick, however I find that I needed a decent three coats to ensure full opacity. I'd also put it out there that they're as glossy as BarryM's Gelly Hi-Shine collection. I went there...
At only £3.69 a pop, I couldn't resist them, particularly with the offer. I definitely plan on investing in more of this range, and more of Rimmel's entire range, for that matter. I tend to see them as a make up brand rather than a polish one - maybe I'm wrong after all. With 10 of Rita's collection left to buy, which should I go for next?

What do you think to this range? Do you buy into brands because of the celebs?
