OOTN/FOTN - So Long, Farewell, Aufwiedersehen Exams!

Hello you lot!

So yesterday was my final exam of first semester - hoorah! - and that called for a well deserved night out in Leeds with my friends! I hadn't been out in such a long time and couldn't wait for a good old dress up.

My top* is from one of my favourite stores in Leeds, Ark. It's something a little different to what I usually wear on a night out! I tend to stick with blacks and all things that glitter but this year I'm really trying to be a bit more out there with my style and I feel that this top kinda eases me into that. Surprisingly, despite the yellow it complements my pale skin tone really well and the fit is perfect - not fitted and awkward to move in but not so baggy either. The leopard print feels really good to wear too, a kind of middle ground for those of us not too daring but wanting to wear something other than block colours.

The top is a chiffon material which also makes it really comfy and "movable" - if that makes sense! It lets plenty of air in and keeps me cool - fabulous when I work up a sweat with my amazing dance moves...

I teamed it with a plain black skort from Boohoo. I love how the back of the top is also plain black and it all kind of blends into one! It certainly feels very slimming! The zip detail just adds that bit extra too. My shoes for this outfit really weren't very interesting. A pair of £5 black flats from Primark that are perfect for nights out as I'm not to fussed as to whether or not they ruin.

What I'm wearing:
Black Flats - Primark £5

For this overall make up look I wanted to stay quite subtle with my eyes but have a bold lip to both contrast with the brightness of the top and bring out the colour of it. Please excuse the dodgy eyelash application, it's been a while!

What's on my face:
Ted Baker Lashes (from a gift set)

On my nails:

What are your thoughts on this look?

Lots of love, Steph xxxx
