Sleek Blush in Rose Gold

Sleek MakeUP is renowned for their high quality, super-pigmented products. Their products are well above the standard of their high street companions and the style of their packaging would give anyone the impression that their products cost far more than their RRP.

When I realised that Sleek was now stocked in my local Superdrug I was pretty pleased! I had tried, but didn't own any Sleek products so I'm sure you can imagine my face when I realised that I had a little extra cash and an ever-lacking make up collection, not to mention that I could now buy Sleek without having to search for it. (Isn't it funny that us bbloggers always feel that? I have so much make up but I still feel like I'm lacking!)

Everyone knows how amazing Sleek blushers are, and I feel a little daft that it's taken me so long to buy one. I chose the shade Rose Gold. I've wanted NARS Orgasm for ages and after a bbloggers chat a few weeks ago I was advised that Rose Gold was almost the perfect dupe. I'm just going to put this out there - I HAVE NEVER LOVED A BLUSHER SO MUCH.

Let me start with the packaging. I feel that this is why Sleek is called Sleek. It's so modern and crisp that I struggle to find faults with it. The gloss text against the matte black canvas looks absolutely stunning. My one fault with this product is the clasp. I really struggle to get it open! I have no doubt that this will improve the more I use the blush. I am super impressed with the size of the mirror in the packaging though. I hate little tiny mirrors that you can't use - but this is nothing of the sort.

Is that dust?! My camera is better than I thought!

The pigmentation of this blush is as promised; perfect. For my skin tone, I would say that it's the perfect shade of pink. It's not too bright but not too pale that it isn't noticeable. When you swipe your finger across the blush just once, the colour is identical to the colour in the pan. It's so pretty, I can't even describe it! The shimmer looks quite intense when in the packaging and when swatched, but when applied to the cheeks it doesn't look too overpowering. It just gives a subtle glow.

At £4.49 I want to buy even more of this collection!

What do you think to Sleek blushers? What's your favourite shade? Do you recommend any other Sleek products?

Lots of love, Steph xxxx

  5. That blush is so pretty! I want to try Sleek but it's not available here. I've found the product I want (Blush by 3 in Lace) on eBay but I'm not that big of a fan of eBay haha.
