Gradient Nail Tutorial

Why didn't I try this sooner?!

  1. Apply base coat.
  2. Paint nails with lightest colour of gradient.
  3. On a plastic surface (using an old wrapper (like what CDs come in) is a good idea) apply a few drops of your two colours next to each other so that they are just touching.
  4. Use a sponge to merge the two colours slightly to create your gradient.
  5. Dab on nail to create gradient effect!
  6. Apply top coat.
  7. Clean up your fingers!

Voila! This easy trick can create so many pretty designs and it is so much easier than it looks. Give it a whirl and tweet me your pics at @DinksBeautyBlog!

Here are some looks I created over the past few days:

Let me know if you'd like to know what colours I used to create these effects and do send me pics of your gradient nails at @DinksBeautyBlog :)
