BAKING STORAGE & INGREDIENTS COLLECTION

Ask anyone that knows me well and they will tell you how much I love sweet treats. Be it a bit of chocolate, a cupcake, a pastry, a tart, anything - I love anything that will satisfy my sugar craving. It's only over the past few years that I've really gotten into baking though, especially since watching The Great British Bake Off and becoming obsessed with Mary Berry.

Whey Aye Pet, Welcome To Tha Toon!

Hellooooo to you, if there is anyone there? It's hilarious that the last post I wrote on this blog was about getting back my blogging mojo..only to thereafter not blog for 3 months! What can I say? I've been busy. Literally, that.

I moved to Newcastle upon Tyne in August so that's made things quite manic. After three years living in Leeds and moving back home in Donneh (Doncaster..) every Summer/Winter/whenever I had days/weeks off uni, I upped sticks again and moved to a cute little flat in the toon with my boyfriend of now (nearly) 4 years. I don't think he realised how much shit I can leave around the house. Buuuuut I make him cake.

Getting Back My Blogging Mojo

I've decided I'm not one for blogging advice posts, in fact, one of the reasons I took a step back from blogging is because the blogging environment seemed to become an endless feed of "How To Get More Followers" and "How To Up Your Blogging Game" and I just felt like if I wasn't doing what they said, I wouldn't get very far. Granted, it wasn't the only reason I took a step back, University was getting immensely difficult and I didn't have the ability to make my blog as good as I wanted it - I didn't have the money for products, or a camera decent enough for the images I wanted. But nevertheless, this isn't intended to be an advice post, more me telling you how I got back to blogging. If you can take something from this to get back your own mojo - then I'd be very happy indeed!

My return of blogging motivation may have something to do with finishing University but I think it's got a lot to do with the three things I'm going to share with you below...

Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Bellissima

When I think of Kat Von D I think back to my teenage years and being obsessed with LA Ink. Those were the days... Kat Von D is a professional tattoo artist, model, TV personality and in 2008 delved into the world of cosmetics, producing the line 'Kat Von D Beauty' for Sephora. The Kat Von D Tattoo Liner has seen a lot of hype from cosmetics obsessors but when browsing Sephora I wanted to go for something different in the range. I picked up two things, one of them being the Kat Von D Everlasting Face Shaper Blush in the shade Bellissima

bareMinerals Original Foundation in Fairly Light and Beautiful Finish Brush (20th Anniversary Collector's Edition!)

I first tried bareMinerals Original Foundation back in 2012 when I first started really getting into make up. I had the bareMinerals Get Started Kit, which although was a couple of shades too dark, I fell in love with and used until there was nothing left. I then tried the bareMinerals READY foundation, the pressed powder version of the original and got on with it so so - the finish wasn't as I'd previously experienced with the Original Foundation and I just didn't find the right brush for applying it. So, when deciding that I would essentially buy a new, full-face of make up in America, I just knew that whilst I had a bit of extra cash (and whilst the dollar-gbp rate was decent), I needed to go back to that bareMinerals foundation as it's honestly the best I've ever tried.

MAC Pink Lipsticks; Girl About Town & Sunny Seoul

MAC are known for their incredible range of lipsticks and I'd have been a fool not to pick up a couple in the US for a few pounds less. Or at least that's what I tell myself...

MAC Coppering Eye Look

I've been loving a gold eye look so far this Summer yet I've been itching to try something new. When browsing the MAC counter in the Orlando duty free store (which is, not going to lie, the most disappointing duty free store ever...) I was eyeing up the bloggers' holy grail, Cranberry, when Coppering caught my attention.
